Luminor Due - 3 Days Automatic Acciaio - 45 mm

Luminor Due 3 Days Automatic Acciaio - 45 mm PAM00739
Novelty 2017

The new Luminor Due 3 Days Automatic has the P.4000/10 calibre, which is the first Panerai automatic movement with an off-centred micro-rotor: a sophisticated technical solution which enables the movement to be much thinner and lighter. The ingenious structure of this calibre and the work of the designers has enabled the thickness of the case to be reduced by about 40% (10.7 mm). Thanks to the reduced thickness of the case, the new Luminor due 3 Days Automatic is also 36% lighter than the Luminor 1950 44 mm steel case, while maintaining the solidity, strength and functionality of the watch and leaving its distinctive design unchanged. The anthracite dial is enhanced with a sun-brushed finish which captures and radiates light, creating surprising and enchanting effects.

Calibre P.4000/10

Calibre P.4000/10

The P.4000/10 calibre is the fascinating, precious, skeletonised version of the P.4000 calibre, the thinnest automatic calibre developed by the Panerai Manufacture. The most distinctive feature of this calibre is the decentralised micro-rotor in 22-carat gold oscillating weight having Clous de Paris decoration which rotates in both directions, feeding energy into the two spring barrels which accumulate a power reserve of three days. The balance bridge is the type with twin supports, more secure and stronger than the single cantilever balance cock, and the watch also has the device which stops the balance wheel when the winding crown is pulled out, for synchronising the time perfectly. The bridges have circular brushed finish and gilded engraving, and they are skeletonised to allow a large part of the movement to be seen, every detail being clearly visible through the large porthole in sapphire glass which opens on the back of the case.
